The Sheboygan A’s easily dispatched the Appleton Legends 8-1 on Wednesday
In the first inning, Sheboygan got their offense started. Jimmy Juergensen doubled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.
The A’s put up four runs in the second inning, led by Jake Falish and Juergensen, who all drove in runs.
Brendan Bille led the Sheboygan A’s to victory on the mound. He allowed two hits and zero runs over six and a third innings, striking out five. Kyle Moyer and Ben Folger entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Tyler Gronert took the loss for Appleton. He allowed eight hits and seven runs over four innings, striking out four.
Sheboygan tallied 11 hits in the game. Juergensen, Falish, and Ross Krist all had multiple hits. Juergensen led the team with three hits in four at-bats.
Aaron Moody went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Appleton Legends in hits.
