The Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League has released the all-league first and second teams for the 2025 season, as well as honorable mentions, as voted on by team general managers and league personnel.

𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝘀 (𝟲), 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 (𝟱)
Menasha built a four-run lead through six innings and held off a late Appleton rally to secure a 6-5 win. Alex Ramus and Ryan Csida each drove in runs in the second to set the tone, while Connor Olson led the offense with two hits from the ninth spot in the order. Ian Dohms earned the win with five innings of one-run ball, and Griffin Klein picked up the save. Reid Hietpas went 3-for-4 to pace Appleton’s nine-hit effort, while Nick Terrell and Cooper Brown each drove in two runs during the comeback attempt.

Menasha finishes 2-0 and will head to the NEWBL Championship against Sheboygan.

Menasha broke the game open with a six-run fifth inning on their way to an 11-0 shutout of Greenville. Ryan Csida delivered the big blow with a three-run homer, while Ben Johnston added a two-run single as part of a 14-hit attack. Alex Vander Loop earned the win with 4.1 scoreless innings, striking out four, and the Macs played clean defense behind him. Alex Ramus led Menasha with three hits, while William Horener, Colin Nigl, and Johnston also posted multi-hit games. Joe Fischer and Chayce Schultz had two hits apiece for Greenville.

With the win, Menasha moves to 1-0 in the NEWBL Round-Robin portion of the NEWBL Playoffs. Greenville is now 0-1.
