The Menasha Macs defeated Green Bay 18-0 on Monday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout.

The Menasha Macs defeated Green Bay 18-0 on Monday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout.

Menasha got on the board in the first inning when Sam Hawley doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

Menasha notched nine runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Adam GrambowRyan HinskeHawleyPeyton Jack, and Drew Johnson, walks by Colin Englebert and Trevor Hogenson, and by John Nett.

A double by Hunter Larson in the first inning was a positive for Green Bay.

Hunter Barber was the winning pitcher for Menasha. He allowed two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out four. Ben Kohl threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Bryce Braspennickx took the loss for Green Bay. He lasted three innings, allowing six hits and eight runs while striking out two.
