The Kewaskum A’s delivered a commanding 11-1 win over the Appleton Legends on Wednesday.

The Kewaskum A’s delivered a commanding 11-1 win over the Appleton Legends on Wednesday. Despite an early run by the Legends, the A’s quickly took the lead with Jared Chesak’s two-RBI single in the bottom of the first. They extended their advantage with additional runs in the third inning from Mike Prochnow and Landon Behringer. Tyler Gronert secured the win for the A’s, allowing just three hits and one unearned run over seven innings while striking out nine. AJ Price took the loss for the Legends, giving up five runs over four innings. The A’s amassed 12 hits, with standout performances from JJ Chapman, Brad Young, and Prochnow. The A’s also displayed strong defensive play, turning three double plays. Bryce Duszak led the Legends with two hits.
The Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League is a top-tier, wooden bat, adult semi-professional baseball league located in northeastern Wisconsin. Players in the league are considered amateur status, are not paid and consist mostly of current college baseball players, as well as former college and professional players.
