Turner Kuhnke collected three hits and drove in two runs as the Greenville Stars held off the Kewaskum A’s for a 3-2 victory.

Turner Kuhnke collected three hits and drove in two runs as the Greenville Stars held off the Kewaskum A’s for a 3-2 victory. Kewaskum struck first on Sean Menzel’s sacrifice fly in the opening inning, but Kuhnke answered with an RBI double in the bottom half to tie the game. Greenville moved ahead in the fifth when Kuhnke doubled home Bryce Hintz before scoring on a Jake Lucas single. Kewaskum cut the deficit to one in the ninth on Trevor Morris’ sacrifice fly, but Trent Feucht recorded the final out to preserve the win. Kuhnke finished 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBIs, and a run scored, while Garrett Hietpas added two hits for Greenville. Mason Burrichter earned the win with three scoreless innings of relief, allowing two hits and striking out five. Nick Rosenthal worked all eight innings for Kewaskum, allowing three runs on nine hits while striking out five.
