Greenville used a five-run fourth inning to take control and rolled to an 8-1 win over Appleton on Tuesday. Matthew Hietpas started the rally with a two-run double before Kameron Chronis added an RBI double, Gary Wuest followed with an RBI single, and Brock Wolter capped the inning with a sacrifice fly. Wolter earned the win after tossing six scoreless innings, allowing five hits while striking out one. Chronis, Wuest, and Hietpas each drove in two runs, while Wuest and Benny Kiefer collected two hits apiece for the Stars. Nick Terrell went 2-for-5 with a double to lead Appleton, which scored its lone run in the ninth on Alex Ramus’ RBI fielder’s choice.
