Menasha overcame an early two-run deficit and used a four-run fifth inning to pull away for an 8-2 victory over Greenville. The Stars scored twice in the first three innings, with Kameron Chronis drawing bases-loaded walks to force in runs, but Greenville left the bases loaded in both rallies and could not add on. Menasha answered in the fourth inning, scoring twice on an error and an RBI single from Jackson Anderson to tie the game. The Macs then broke through in the fifth when Ayden Kanaman delivered an RBI single and Connor Olson followed with a run-scoring hit that, combined with a Greenville error, plated two more runs for a 5-2 lead. Menasha added another run in the seventh on a scoring play involving Quade Thompson and capped the afternoon with three runs in the eighth, highlighted by a two-run single from Colin Nigl. Kanaman finished 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs, while Nigl drove in two runs and Anderson added an RBI. Owen Ripley earned the win, allowing two runs over 6.1 innings while striking out eight. Greenville managed just four hits, with Garrett Hietpas and Brett Sommer accounting for two of them, and stranded multiple scoring opportunities in the loss.
