Menasha broke the game open with a six-run fifth inning on their way to an 11-0 shutout of Greenville.

Menasha broke the game open with a six-run fifth inning on their way to an 11-0 shutout of Greenville. Ryan Csida delivered the big blow with a three-run homer, while Ben Johnston added a two-run single as part of a 14-hit attack. Alex Vander Loop earned the win with 4.1 scoreless innings, striking out four, and the Macs played clean defense behind him. Alex Ramus led Menasha with three hits, while William Horener, Colin Nigl, and Johnston also posted multi-hit games. Joe Fischer and Chayce Schultz had two hits apiece for Greenville.
With the win, Menasha moves to 1-0 in the NEWBL Round-Robin portion of the NEWBL Playoffs. Greenville is now 0-1.
