The 2024 NEWBL State Tournament qualifier begins today.

The 2024 NEWBL State Tournament qualifier begins today.
The winner of the four-team round robin will advance to the Wisconsin Class A State Tournament August 3-4 in Burlington, WI.
The Green Bay Blue Ribbons, regular season champions, have receive an automatic bid to the State Tournament, and will not be in the NEWBL qualifier.
The Sheboygan A’s will go through the Wisconsin State League’s qualifier’s and not be in the NEWBL qualifier.
The team joining Green Bay from the NEWBL will be the round-robin winner between Appleton, Greenville, Kewaskum and Menasha. Each team will play one another once Monday-Wednesday.
All Games are 7 innings with no mercy run rule. Should a game go into extra innings, the Ohtani Rule (runner on second base after 7 innings) will not be used. If tiebreaker procedures are needed, they will be:
- Head-to-head game winner
- Lowest average runs allowed per inning pitched
- Highest average runs scored per inning at bat
- Coin flip.

August 1 and August 2 will be used as rain makeup dates if necessary.
The Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League is a top-tier, wooden bat, adult semi-professional baseball league located in northeastern Wisconsin. Players in the league are considered amateur status, are not paid and consist mostly of current college baseball players, as well as former college and professional players.
