The Appleton Legends defeated the Greenville Stars 11-3 on Monday, thanks in part to eight runs in the sixth inning. Reid Hietpas, Owen Gerhardt, and Chris Huettner drew walks to score runs, while Everett Nowak singled to drive in two more. An error, a steal of home, and a passed ball added to the scoring frenzy. Trent Feucht and Ethan Peters contributed runs for Greenville. Jason Jennerjohn earned the win for Appleton, while Kaden Kreski took the loss for Greenville. Nowak, Gerhardt, and Nick Terrell each had key hits for Appleton, demonstrating strong plate discipline with 10 walks.
