The Menasha Macs secured a 6-4 win over the Greenville Stars on Monday, after building an early five-run lead by the third inning. Ryder Hoffman’s RBI single in the second inning initiated the scoring, followed by key hits from Garrett Hietpas, William Horener, Hudson Wagner, and Hoffman in the third. Quinn Ludvigsen earned the win, allowing just one unearned run over seven innings, while Ben Romnek collected the save. The Stars rallied late with runs from Camden Kuhnke, Eli Retzlaff, and others, but couldn’t overcome the deficit. The Macs tallied 11 hits, with Hietpas, Horener, and Hoffman each contributing two hits. Greenville showed patience at the plate, drawing eight walks. Menasha Macs will face the Kewaskum A’s in their next game on Tuesday.
