Menasha Macs 4, Appleton Legends 3
With the game tied at three in the bottom of the ninth, Ryan Csida’s clutch single drove in the game-winning run Monday night. The Macs’ bottom part of the lineup, including Nick Lenzendorf, Kale Twombly, and Hudson Wagner, combined for four of the team’s eight hits. Twombly’s pivotal single in the sixth inning tied the game, setting the stage for the final inning heroics. Noah Meyer earned the win for the Macs, while Brennan Chynoweth took the loss for the Legends. Both teams displayed aggressive base running, with Menasha collecting five stolen bases and Appleton four. The Legends’ Blake Wallenfang and Everett Nowak each contributed key hits, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Macs’ resilient performance.
