Appleton Legends shut out Menasha Macs

The Appleton Legends beat the Menasha Macs 3-0 in a Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League game Monday.

APPLETON, WI – The Appleton Legends beat the Menasha Macs 3-0 in a Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League game Monday.

Five pitchers combined for the Legends to limit the Macs to two hits as Appleton improved to 19-5 overall and 9-3 in the league.

The Legends took a 2-0 lead in the third inning. Matt Baehman singled and scored on a double by Brady Stolzman, then Stolzman came home on a single by Bryce Cross.

Evan Bohman doubled to lead off the fourth inning then scored on a single by Matt DeYoung to give the Legends a 3-0 lead.
