GREEN BAY – Hunter Larson and Grant Frazer each had three hits as the Green Bay Storm improved to 13-3 in the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League with a 5-3 win over the Sheboygan A’s on Monday.
The Storm (17-5 overall) scored three runs in the first inning, highlighted by a two-run double from Spencer Larson. The game was tied at 3-3 when the Storm scored two in the seventh on a balk and a fielder’s choice.
Dante Wilmet went 8.2 innings, allowing three runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts. Riley Spetz came on with the bases loaded in the ninth to secure the final out and earn the save.
Spencer Larson added two hits. Sheboygan fell to 13-6 in the league (26-15 overall).
The Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League is a top-tier, wooden bat, adult semi-professional baseball league located in northeastern Wisconsin. Players in the league are considered amateur status, are not paid and consist mostly of current college baseball players, as well as former college and professional players.
