At Appleton, Jason Malkowski hurled a three-hit shutout to help the Appleton Legends baseball team earn a split with the Menasha Macs.

The Legends defeated Menasha 1-0 in the first game before dropping a 7-3 decision in the nightcap.

Courtney Watkins was 2-for-3 in the first game for Appleton (15-10, 7-9).

Adam Grambow was 4-for-4 in the second game for Menasha, including a double, home run and two RBIs. Jason Wierschke got the win for the Macs.
