SHEBOYGAN – The Appleton Legends couldn’t capitalize on several late scoring opportunities as they lost to the Sheboygan A’s 7-6 in a Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League game Friday.

The Legends (11-8 overall, 4-7) left the bases loaded in the eighth inning and had the tying run on second base in the ninth inning but couldn’t score.

Sheboygan led 7-3 after six innings before Appleton scored three runs in the top of the seventh to pull within a run.

Chris Erm was 3-for-3 for the Legends.
