Menasha Macs shut out Appleton Legends

The Menasha Macs scored two runs in the fourth inning and went on to beat the Appleton Legends 2-0 in a Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League game Tuesday at Koslo Park.

MENASHA – The Menasha Macs scored two runs in the fourth inning and went on to beat the Appleton Legends 2-0 in a Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League game Tuesday at Koslo Park.

Eric Zuberbier struck out six batters and allowed three walks to pick up the complete-game shutout win for the Macs.

Mac Shumann led off the fourth with a double and went to third on a single by Adam Grambow, then Alex Duros hit a sacrifice fly to bring home Shumann with the first run. Ryan Hinske followed with a double to send Grambow to third and he scored on a fly ball by Austin Weyenberg.
