Sam Long carried a no-hitter into the ninth inning to lead the Oshkosh Giants to a 10-2 win over the Manitowoc Bandits in a Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League opener on Monday night.

Long did not allow a hit until there were two outs in the ninth inning before finishing off the win.

Jake Cibulka had two hits, including a home run, and drove in three runs, while Ian Czarnecki added a double.

The Giants will host Addison in doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday at E.J. Schneider Field.

The Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League is a top-tier, wooden bat, adult semi-professional baseball league located in northeastern Wisconsin. Players in the league are considered amateur status, are not paid and consist mostly of current college baseball players, as well as former college and professional players.
